Duck baked with oranges

Very soon a magical night will come when all relatives, relatives, friends will gather at one table. Toasts, wishes will sound, there will be a lot of laughter and fun.
The table will be bursting with an abundance of delicious dishes.
I bring to your attention a recipe for a delicious fragrant duck.
This way you can bake chicken, but it’s better to use duck..
The finished duck can be poured with the juice of the oranges with which it was stuffed.
As a side dish, you can cook rice, potatoes or vegetable salad.
From the specified amount of ingredients, 10-12 servings are obtained.

  • duck (2.5-3 kg)
  • 3-4 oranges


  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 50 g honey
  • 100 ml orange juice
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger (optional)
  • salt


Squeeze juice from one orange (we need 100 ml).

Cut the rest of the oranges into 4-6 pieces.

Mix soy sauce and orange juice.

Add honey.

Add ginger.
Salt a little.


Stuff the duck with oranges (no need to sew up).

Brush with marinade.
I poured the marinade into a mold, put the duck in it, and periodically turned the duck over, letting it soak in the marinade.
In total, this took about 10 minutes..

Put the duck in the roasting sleeve.
Put on a baking sheet.
Put in the oven.
Bake at 180 degrees for 2-2.5 hours.
