Chicken in white wine with aromatic herbs

Fragrant, tender, delicious chicken.
I used semi-sweet white wine, but red will work too.
You can use any herbs to taste.
Stewed vegetables, mashed potatoes or rice are ideal for garnish..
From the specified amount of ingredients, 3-4 servings are obtained.

  • chicken weighing about 1 kg
  • 250 ml wine
  • 150 g onions
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 5-7 sprigs of thyme
  • basil (I used purple, green is fine)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • vegetable oil


Cut the onion into strips.

Finely chop the garlic.

Chop the basil.

Chicken breast cut.

Lightly fry the onion and garlic in vegetable oil.

Lay out the chicken.
Fry 15 minutes on one side.

Fry for 15 minutes on the other side.

Pour in wine.
Simmer chicken for 10 minutes on one side.

Simmer for 10 minutes on the other side.

Add herbs.
Salt, pepper.
To cover with a lid.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
