Baguette


Delicious baguette. Crispy crust, tender crumb.

You can serve the baguette with butter, cheese, jam, etc..

Ingredients

  • 500 ml water
  • ½ tsp Sahara
  • 10 g yeast (dry)
  • 750-800 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation

Warm up 250 ml of water (it should be warm, not hot).
Add sugar.

Add yeast.

Add 250 g flour.
Mix.
Cover with a napkin.
Put in a warm place.

Let the dough rise.

Add salt.

Add oil.

Add 250 ml of water (room temperature).

Mix.

Add 550-600 g flour.
Knead the dough.
Cover the dough with a napkin.
Put in a warm place.

Let the dough rise.

Divide the dough into 3 parts.
Form a cake from each part.

Wrap one edge towards the middle.

Wrap the second edge towards the middle.

Collapse.

Roll out a little.

Cover the baking sheet with baking paper (or grease with oil).
Lay out the baguettes.
Cover with a towel.
Let it rise.

Make cuts with a sharp knife.
Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
